Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road 40th Anniversary Edition







Since October 2013 was the 40th Anniversary of the release of the double Elton John album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, one of the most important of his career (selling over 31 million albums worldwide and going platinum in the US 7 times over), on 24th March 2014 a new edition of the album will be released in various formats.
First of all there will be a super-deluxe boxset contaning 4 audio-CDs, one DVD and one book; here's the details of each item:

Bryan Forbes’ 1973 film Elton John and Bernie Taupin Say Goodbye To Norma Jean and Other Things (45 minutes)

BOOK:
A 100-page illustrated hardback book packed with rare photos, memorabilia and a new essay containing interviews with Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

The album will also be available in a deluxe edition (only CD1-2) or as a standard edition (only CD1).

Available separately there will also be:
-a limited-edition double-LP in yellow 180-gram vinyl  
-a BluRay-Audio disc of the series "High Fidelity Pure Audio", containing a new stereo mix and a 5.1 surround mix of the album and a download card to download an MP3 version of the album.
